Product Features

Tilba has a range of club cheeses blended together with some flavorsome combinations. The subtle flavours are suitable for most pallets and include Vintage Cheddar, Cracked Pepper, Sun dried Tomato, Smoked Applebox, Trilogy and Gold cheddar. Great for cheeseboards and cooking as they add colour and are easy to cut. Available in a 2kg wheel or 140g portions.


Darshan
has now added a new product to their range. Now available is a Variety Pack containing 18 pieces made up of 6 beef, 6 chicken & 6 vegetable mini rolls. A tasty & convenient finger food which is easy to prepare - simply heat & serve. This product also carries the National Heart Foundation tick of approval. Available late January.

 

T-ism Organic is a range of chilled, flavoured organic green teas. It is brewed naturally from Ceylon premium tea (not mixed with tea extract). It is thirst quenching with a clean, refreshing aftertaste unlike any other, due to the low sugar recipe. Recipe Ideas

Creamy Bacon & Mushroom Fettuccine

375g dried fettuccine pasta
1 bunch broccolini, cut into 5cm lengths
250g bacon, cut into 1.5cm pieces
500g button mushrooms, halved
5g reduced-fat dairy spread
40g (1/4 cup) plain flour
560ml (21/4 cups) milk
60ml (1/4 cup) thickened cream
30g (1/3 cup) coarsely grated Tilba cheddar
2 tbs shredded parmesan
Shaved parmesan, to serve

Method:

  1. Cook pasta in a saucepan of boiling water until al dente. Add the broccolini in the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add bacon and mushroom and cook for 5 minutes or until tender. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Melt the spread in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until combined. Remove from heat. Gradually whisk in milk and cream until combined. Place over medium heat and cook, stirring, for 3-5 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens. Add the cheddar and shredded parmesan and stir until melted.
  4. Add the pasta mixture and the bacon mixture to the pan and stir until combined. Season with salt and pepper and top with shaved parmesan to serve.
